Quiet Room Policies

SIGN-OUT PROCEDURE

When leaving the Quiet Room for any purpose other than a regularly scheduled seminar or lecture, a student must sign-out.  The information below must be selected and/or typed into the appropriate sign out form.

1. Reason – Why are you leaving the Quiet Room?
  • Example: Study Group
  • Example: Grad Project Meeting
2. Room Location/Meeting - Where are you traveling to (This must include room #s for study groups or floor)

  • a. Study Group Example: Room 217
  • b. Faculty Meeting Example:  Ms. Vasquez - 3rd floor 

3. Quiet Room & Time

  • a. Quiet room: select Quiet room
  • b. Departure: submission of the form creates the timestamp
  • c. Return: check in with the QR manager

4. Proper Form

5. Confirmation of departure
  • Must check out with QR manager for confirmation
  • QR manager reserves the right to deny your request

*Initial failure to do this will result in a -35 point workforce deduction. **Repeated failure to do this will result in a discipline referral and administrative action.
